Join us for a lecture with Dr. Dave Stewart, Professor of History at Hillsdale College, which will examine the endless supply problems facing armies throughout the American Revolution--and how one general actually turned them to his advantage.
This lecture is part of a series presented in honor of America semiquincentennial in conjunction with the Center for Military History and Strategy at Hillsdale College.

About the Speaker

Dr. Dave Stewart earned his Ph.D. at Ohio State University, studying early modern military history. He has been a professor at Hillsdale College since 1993, where he teaches courses on the military history of both Western Europe and the United States, including specialized courses on the American Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, and the War of 1812. His publications have included essays on early modern naval reforms, Louis XIV’s use of political violence, and propaganda in the War of the Spanish Succession.
