After studying Politics, Classical Education, and Journalism at Hillsdale College, Julia McNeely decided to pursue a career in education. She is originally from Akron, Ohio, but now resides in Bloomington, Indiana with her husband and three dogs. She is grateful for the opportunity as a teacher to be in the process of "soul-crafting.” She particularly enjoys stepping alongside students who experience learning difficulties and encouraging those students to persevere through adversity. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys cooking/ baking, hiking, exercising or sipping tea with friends!
